INGLENOOK COTTAGE

Inglenook Cottage is a stone built character 3 bedroom holiday cottage within the Exmoor National Park. This 3 bedroom self catering holiday cottage accommodation can comfortably sleep up to 5 persons. Features include stone inglenook fireplace with log burning stove; ledged and battened doors; fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and laundry facilities; one of the bedrooms can be either a twin or a double; front garden with picnic table and enclosed rear garden.


Inglenook Cottage is a 3 bedroom self catering holiday cottage. There is a lawned area in front with a picnic table. The stone and slate built holiday accommodation dates from around 1700 and has many character features including an inglenook fireplace in the living room and ledged & battened doors. The separate kitchen is very well equipped including dishwasher, washing machine & dryer. The 3 upstairs bedrooms can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people and there is an upstairs bathroom with bath, shower and WC.		The large sitting room has a feature stone inglenook fireplace with a built in bread oven and salt safe. The inglenook contains an impressive multi fuel stove (logs are provided free of charge). There is plenty of comfortable seating for 5 people and a 21" TV with VCR/DVD/CD player and Freeview digital TV. The window faces south and overlooks a peaceful courtyard.

There is a large walk in cupboard used as a storeroom for a vacuum cleaner and other cleaning materials. The sitting room is heated by an electric night storage radiator and the log and coal burning stove.		The galley kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, electric oven, hob and cooker hood, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and dishwasher. The kitchen is heated by an electric night storage radiator. The rear stable door leads to a small enclosed patio garden, ideal for containing small children and dogs.

The kitchen was completely renovated with all modern conveniences in early 2010.		The dual aspect double bedroom has a double bed, feature Georgian fireplace (not in use) and a ledged and battened timber door. The main window faces south and overlooks the peaceful courtyard, the second window faces east and overlooks the gardens. There are two bedside cupboards with table lamps, a built-in wardrobe and a large chest of drawers. Heating is provided by an electric night storage radiator.



The second bedroom has a zip-link king size double bed that can be divided into two single beds if required. This bedroom can therefore be either a double or a twin (please specify when booking). The south facing window overlooks the peaceful courtyard and there is a ledged and battened timber door. There are two bedside tables with table lamps and a large chest of drawers. Heating is provided by an electric night storage radiator.		The single bedroom has exposed ceiling beams, a ledged and battened timber door, a single bed, bedside table and lamp, a pedestal dressing table with drawers and an east facing window overlooking the gardens. Heating is provided by an electric night storage radiator.



The bathroom has an 8.5KW electric shower in a corner shower cubicle, a WC and hand basin, a towel rail and ledged and battened timber door. Hot water for the bathroom and kitchen are provided by an immersion heater (the bathroom shower heats cold water instantaneously).



The rear patio garden of Inglenook Cottage is fully enclosed and surrounded by attractive stone walls with built-in seating.		The rear entrance to Inglenook Cottage, overhung with a white wisteria. The path through the gate leads to the rear patio garden, the other sloping path leads up to the vegetable garden.
