SHORT & WEEKEND BREAKS: Minimum of two nights (three nights during school holidays), charged at 1/6th of the weekly rate per night.

EACH COTTAGE HAS: a private garden, wood burning stove, electric night-storage central heating, 21" TV with Freeview and VCR/DVD/CD player, information book with detailed information about the cottages and the local area. The cottages are surrounded by large grounds including a wildlife pond, lawned and wooded areas, and a delightful walk up and around Humphrey's Hill.

FREE: Electricity for heating and hot water (& oil for the Rayburn in the FARMHOUSE).

FREE: Kindling and logs for the wood burning stove, all from our own managed woodland.

FREE: Welcome pack (some tea, coffee, milk and sugar) and access to our library of board games. We also provide a dishcloth, tea towel, some washing up liquid and a toilet roll.

DOGS: Well behaved dogs are welcome charged £12 each per stay. For full details please see our TERMS & CONDITIONS.

The cottages are fully equipped with all that you would expect (including little extras such as toaster, microwave, coffee maker and hair dryer) and the beds are made for your arrival with fresh linen and duvets. We can provide towel sets (one large and one small towel) if required for an extra charge of £5 per set. A high-chair and cot are available free of charge on a first-come first-served basis (please specify on RESERVATION FORM and bring your own bedding for the cot) and there is a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board in a room on site for your use (and in the FARMHOUSE). The FARMHOUSE and GATEHOUSE each have a dishwasher.

John & Melanie are usually on site from 9am to 6pm and are very happy to help you to get the most from your holiday. We know the area well and can suggest appropriate attractions including beaches, walks, cycle rides, restaurants, etc to help you to plan your day and we can also help to arrange other services including shopping ready for your arrival, guided tours, vehicle repairs, horse riding, etc. We are very happy to show you the wildlife and plants on site and our vegetable patch and fruit bushes and trees, where you may help yourself to fresh produce. Please let us know if you are not familiar with log fires - we are happy to light the fire for you and show you how to keep it going successfully.

We can also provide additional services if required, such as extra fresh linen and towels, bed making, cleaning and even cream teas!
