THE FARMHOUSE


The luxury Devon FARMHOUSE is the largest of our cottages with a spacious sitting room, large dining room, well-equipped kitchen, laundry with downstairs WC and three upstairs bedrooms that can comfortably accommodate up to six people.		The large sitting room has an original stone floor and an impressive inglenook stone fireplace with two bread ovens and a wood burning stove. There is plenty of comfortable seating.

The large farmhouse kitchen has an oil-fired Rayburn and is fully equipped with everything you need, including microwave, toaster, dishwasher, coffee maker, fridge and freezer. A separate scullery has a downstairs WC and a washing machine and tumble dryer.



The spacious dining room has a large oak dining table and also serves as a second sitting room, with an electric fire, comfortable seating and a TV. The large west facing window overlooks the gardens.		There are three bedrooms upstairs, a double and two twins, a bathroom (with large corner bath, hand basin, WC, and heated towel rail) and a separate shower room with a WC. The double bedroom has a built in wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a dressing table.

The larger twin bedroom has a built in wardrobe and a chest of drawers. All bedrooms have southerly views overlooking the courtyard.		The smaller twin bedroom has a built-in wardrobe and a dressing table.

The Rayburn provides constant hot water and heats the kitchen and a radiator in the upstairs hall (and there is also an electric immersion heater); the other rooms are heated by electric night-storage radiators and the bathroom and shower-room by electric hot-air blowers. There is a small enclosed patio to the front of the house, and a larger private garden to the rear, accessed by a stable door from the kitchen.
