EXMOOR COTTAGE HOLIDAYS FOR THE FAMILY

EXMOOR COTTAGE HOLIDAYS offers children friendly cottages with comfortable accommodation, ideal for your family holidays in the UK. There are large grounds for children to explore, they can roam around Humphrey's Hill, build dens, play hide & seek and ball games, and learn to appreciate the natural world. The pond life and wild birds provide endless interest, and every year the swallows return to nest around the courtyard. The tame ducks are very comical and you can feed them out of your hand! For rainy days there is a 21" TV with VCR/DVD/CD player and a selection of children's books, videos and board games.

The family friendly accommodation has a well-equipped kitchen and a cot and fire-guard are available. Clothes washing and drying facilities are provided for your use. There is a good local shop and Post Office a short walk away (300 yards) and you can order groceries ready for your arrival. Next to the shop, a child friendly inn with a small playground serves good food and real ales.

North Devon has something for everyone in the family to enjoy: the vast golden sandy beaches of Woolacombe and Saunton, excellent for sunbathing, sandcastles and surfing; family attractions such as Exmoor Zoo, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Watermouth Castle; sporting activities including Keypits quad biking, North Devon Karting, cycling along the Tarka Trail, golf, fishing and shooting; scenic drives around Exmoor and along the north Devon coast; historical interest, including the medieval towns of Dunster and Dulverton, the ancient port of Ilfracombe and the National Trust's Arlington Court; and artists are well catered for with galleries in Ilfracombe, Braunton, Lynton and Barnstaple..... the list of things to do goes on and on....

The whole family is welcome at EXMOOR COTTAGE HOLIDAYS, including the family pet. We can accommodate both small and large families (up to ten people when the FARMHOUSE and INGLENOOK COTTAGE are both taken, and up to nineteen people in all the cottages). Our smallest cottage, GARDEN COTTAGE, is ideal for grandparents who may have difficulty with stairs.
