Some examples are Broomhills in Muddiford, which serves magnificent Mediterranean food and has a large sculpture park in the grounds; Clarets in Ilfracombe, which has fine wines and excellent British seasonal food and the Boathouse in Instow, which has a good reputation for seafood. If you don't want to use your car there is a taxi service available in the village.
