EXMOOR SHORT BREAKS

Short breaks in Exmoor & North Devon

North Devon and Exmoor are very popular for UK short breaks due to the spectacular countryside, relaxed uncommercial atmosphere, and easy access from the Midlands and South East. But many self catering cottages will not take short breaks, or pets, or are inconveniently remote with few local facilities.

Exmoor Cottage Holidays is happy to accept short breaks, even during the school holidays. The self catering cottages are easy to reach, being less than an hours drive from the M5; and there are good local facilities, with a traditional pub and a village shop within 300 yards. Dogs are welcome and there is a delightful walk on site up and around Humphrey's Hill.

The character rental cottages sleep from two to six people (+cot) and all have log fires and private enclosed gardens. They are well-equipped for short stays: the beds are made with fresh linen; the kitchens have everything you need including a microwave and coffee maker; and a handy Welcome Pack is provided with cleaning materials, dishcloths, tea towels, a toilet roll and some tea, coffee, sugar and milk.

Logs and kindling for the fire, and electricity for heating and lighting, are included in the price. Towel sets are available for hire and you can arrange for the local shop to deliver groceries ready for your arrival.
